Gary Vee’s new collection, VeeFriends Series 2, will be releasing on April 12th
In little than a year, VeeFriends has become one of the most powerful and unique NFT collections available. PFP (profile picture) NFTs like Bored Ape Yacht Club were just getting started when Gary Vaynerchuk’s personal and commercial brand VeeFriends was born.
Regardless, Vaynerchuk (a.k.a. GaryVee) selected an unorthodox approach for his large-scale business, which has continued to impact the larger NFT ecosystem. GaryVee’s VeeFriends has flourished as one of the most successful NFT membership use-cases.
VeeFriends is an acronym
VeeFriends by GaryVee was released on May 11, 2021. This drop of 10,255 VeeFriends tokens spawned mini drops, book games, and a large-scale “Series 2” collection.
The first collection, or “Series 1,” contains a set of tokens known as G.O.O. (Gary Originally Owned). As a result, only 9,013 NFTs are available for the Series 1 launch due to Gary Vee’s collection of 1,242 tokens.
In his initial 268 characters, Vaynerchuk produced hand-drawn depictions of the human attributes he admires. Gary Vee’s NFTs also provide a variety of incentives to owners.

Vaynerchuk’s influence now reaches the NFT ecosystem. His influence on NFTs becomes greater with each expansion of his VeeFriends ecosystem. Vaynerchuk, a master of trend forecasting, thinks NFTs will be there for the rest of his life and VeeFriends will be the historical project.
What are VeeFriends NFTs’ goals and benefits?
VeeFriends’ first collection sold 49,000 ETH (about $160 million) on OpenSea. GaryVee has said that VeeFriends Series 1 was just the beginning after presenting the first 10,255 VeeFriends.
It was August 2021 when Book Games debuted for the VeeFriends group. Less than two months later, Mini Drops joined the VeeFriends roster.
Two months after Book Games, GaryVee launched VeeFriends Mini Drops, a limited-edition sub-collection of VeeFriends focusing on collaboration, scarcity, and the VeeFriends characters’ “cultural endurance.”
What to know about VeeFriends 2
Vaynerchuk confirmed in early April 2022 that the project’s environment will grow by 55,555 NFTs. For the average NFT enthusiast, VeeFriends Series 2 tokens will be valued at $995 USD in ETH. This time, however, things will be a bit different, since the whole supply of the new series will be delivered during April.
On April 12, holders of Book Games NFTs will be authorized to mint Series 2 NFTs. Book Games holders will get 32,000 NFTs.
Starting April 12, holders of VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs can get Series 2 NFTs. Supply of this allocation is similar to the Series 1 supply of 10,255.
On April 25, the public sale will start with just 10,000 Series 2 NFTs available. This number can vary when unminted NFTs from the Friends List minting period are sold on this day.
Finally, starting April 27, the VeeFriends ecosystem will get 15 more characters (220 tokens each character). Every day for 15 days, one character will be made available to those who have a particular number of Book Games tokens and enter a daily lottery.
Series 2 NFTs will not provide owners access to VeeCon, but will instead give holders with extra benefits inside the VaynerNFT ecosystem. The upcoming version will also contain additional token burn features specific to Book Games and Series 2.
